This is the best feeder for my dog!

"My pup loves this, I put goat milk and plain Greek yogurt and she lucks it till it's all gone. She is a hyper girl but after licking this she lays down and is mentally chilled out. Highly recommend"

    MAGIC BOWL!

"I just mixed plain yogurt and beef broth for dogs in a bowl, poured it into three of these bowls for my three Cairn Terriers, and then sat down to eat lunch. You could have heard a pin drop... I loved 20 minutes of quiet time to enjoy my own lunch!"

    Happy licking brain stimulation!

"We have a very active 1 year old field golden and we needed something else to stimulate her brain. This has worked out beautifully for that."

    Product Details

Material. Food-grade rubber base. BPA-free rolling ball. Silicone locking lid. 100% dishwasher safe.

Fits all sizes. Small, medium, and large breeds. The weighted base stays planted for dogs up to 120 pounds.

Put in. Plain yogurt, bone broth, pumpkin puree, peanut butter thinned with water, or liquid supplements. Works with Native Pet, Stella & Chewy's, and most liquid formulations.

Don't put in. Dry kibble. Anything frozen solid (the ball needs liquid thin enough to roll).

Safety. Supervise your dog during use, especially the first few sessions. The silicone lid contains the ball, but strong chewers should be watched.

    How It Works

    1. Fill. Spoon of plain yogurt. Splash of bone broth. Scoop of pumpkin.

    2. Drop the ball in. Right in the center of the bowl.

    3. Snap the lid on. The silicone lid wraps the ball and locks it in place.

    4. Hand it to her. No freezing. No 8-hour prep. 30 seconds from fridge to floor.

    5. Watch her lock in. The ball rolls as she licks, keeping the liquid moving. Most dogs stay engaged 15 to 20 minutes, then lay down on their own.

Why it actually tires her out:

Repetitive licking is one of the few behaviors that drains a dog's mental energy instead of just her body. The rolling ball sustains the motion longer than a flat lick mat, which most dogs figure out in under 4 minutes.

    • Great slow pacer hydration snack bowl

"They have to lick the ball forever and that also causes them to spend the calories of a 30 minute walk, no kidding.!!!! that in turn makes them want to take a nap and leave me alone for a little bit…… ecstatic!!!"

    • My dogs love it!

This is a great product. It works in keeping my dog happy and occupied for a long time. I add bone broth or plain yogurt and she loves it. It sturdy and stays in place so she doesn’t chase the bowl around the house. Perfect to keep her occupied while I’m out of the house or busy at home.

    • A must buy!

I love this for my dog he is four years old and has a lot of energy is a Pit/Husky Mix and when people are over it is so hard to keep him entertained and calm. This is wayyy better and easier than making lick toys with yogurt chews and purees that eventually get all over our floors. Its clean heavy and even durable cause he is a chewer too!

Why Mental Stimulation Beats More Walks

Most high-energy dog behavior comes from under-occupied brains, not lack of exercise. You can walk a lab for two hours and she still comes home ready to tear through the house. What her nervous system actually needs is mental work.

Repetitive licking is one of the few behaviors that tires a dog's mind instead of just her body.

That's the whole point of the rolling ball. It turns a 20-minute lick into 20 minutes of focused mental drain.

      Finally Calm Without the Meds

She won't settle. Walks aren't enough. You've rotated every puzzle toy, every treat, every trick you've read about. She holds each one for four minutes, then she's back on you.

Her nervous system isn't broken. It's under-occupied. The repetitive licking motion is one of the few behaviors that actually tires her mind instead of just her body.

      20 Minutes of Silence. Yours.

You love your dog. You love your dog. You also love being able to sit down for 20 minutes without her pacing back in. CalmBowl buys you real, guilt-free quiet time — not the 30 seconds a regular treat lasts, but 15–20 minutes of focused, happy licking. Unlike lick mats that get destroyed or frozen chews that melt into your carpet, CalmBowl's rolling ball keeps the reward moving and your dog locked in.

      No Mess. No Cleanup Drama.

Liquid treats used to mean sticky floors, flipped bowls, and yogurt-covered paws tracking through the house. CalmBowl's heavy weighted base stays planted — even under a 70-pound Dalmatian — and the locking silicone lid means it won't leak even if your dog flips it. When they're done, pop it in the dishwasher. That's it.

Supplements They Actually Want to Take

Getting a dog to swallow pills or eat medicated food is a daily battle most owners dread. CalmBowl turns that fight into their favorite part of the day. Mix vitamin drops, joint supplements, or post-surgery nutrition into broth or yogurt, pour it in, and watch your dog lick every last drop — no hiding pills in cheese, no wrestling, no wasted medication.

      • Happy dog

This thing is amazing!! Works so great for my senior dog. Just make sure whatever you add to it is liquid enough to stick to the roller ball. Took my senior dog around 15 mins to empty the bowl. This product is made of sturdy material as well. Does not make any noise at all, make sure it’s on a solid surface. Super user friendly. Great value for money.

      • Amazing Product to Keep Dog Busy!

I saw this product on an ad on instagram and found it here. It is pretty straightforward and easy to assemble and disassemble. Definitely works as intended. I have mixed canned pumpkin with broth to keep my dog busy and it works great. Good quality too.

      • Wonderfully simple, yet effective!

I bought this because my australian shepherd self-harms with her tongue. I had doubts on whether she'd even utilize this item. When it arrived I gave it a thorough washing, dried it, then put a couple spoons of plain yogurt into the ball cup, added a little warm water and put it back together, Within moments she was using it, and apparently it's a huge hit!!! I highly recommend this product if you have a self licker dog!

      • Will hold the pets attention for hours

This Bowl kept my dog busy for about 30 minutes. Probably longer if he didnt eat all the yogurt I put in it. It is good quality and the Dog could not flip it or move it. I would hight recommend purchasing this product for your pets.

        Alica L.

      • My dogs love it!

This is an excellent product. I was skeptical because licking mats are messy, difficult to clean and my dogs only lick them for a very short time but this bowl is very easy to fill, super easy to take apart and clean. Most important thing is all of my dogs love it.

        M. S. H.

      • More of an enrichment exercise than a “slow feeder “.

Got these for both of our dogs and they love them. We just adopted a 6 year old lab last weekend, and the licking comforts her and engages her. It’s described as a slow feeder, but it’s really more of an enrichment activity.

        Betty K.

        From Curious To Confident

Will this actually tire out my high-energy dog?

Yes, if the high energy comes from under-stimulation (which covers most labs, huskies, shepherds, pits, and doodles under age 6). The rhythmic licking gives the dog's brain something to do, which tires her mind. Owners of working breeds consistently report 15 to 30 minutes of engagement followed by the dog lying down on her own. If your dog has a medical or clinical behavior issue, check with your vet.

        Can this replace a walk?

No. Dogs still need physical exercise. Think of CalmBowl as mental stimulation that complements walks, not replaces them. On days when you can't walk enough (rain, work, travel, injury), a filled bowl does the mental-drain work that an extra walk can't.

Q: My dog has destroyed every lick mat and puzzle toy. Will this hold up?

The base is weighted rubber, not silicone mat. The ball is locked behind a silicone lid. Multiple reviewers with strong chewers report the bowl surviving. If yours breaks in the first 60 days, the money-back guarantee covers you.

What do I put in the CalmBowl?

Bone broth, plain Greek yogurt, pumpkin puree, peanut butter mixed with water, or any liquid supplement. Just make sure the consistency is thin enough for the ball to roll smoothly.

What size dogs does it work for?

CalmBowl works for small, medium, and large breeds. Owners of everything from Frenchies to Huskies to 70-pound Dalmatians report great results.

Will my dog tip it over or break it?

The heavy weighted base stays planted even with large, enthusiastic dogs. Multiple owners confirm their dogs tried to flip it and failed. Even when tipped, the silicone lid keeps it sealed with no leaks.

Can my dog pull the ball out?

The ball sits low inside the bowl and the silicone lid wraps around the entire base to keep it contained. However, we recommend supervising your dog during use, especially the first few times.

How long does it keep my dog busy?

Most owners report 20 to 60 minutes depending on dog size and what you fill it with. Thicker mixtures last longer.

Does it actually help with anxiety?

Yes. Repetitive licking is a natural self-soothing behavior in dogs. Owners of dogs with severe anxiety, separation issues, and even self-destructive licking habits report significant calming effects.

        Is it easy to clean?

100% dishwasher safe. You can also pull it apart and hand wash in seconds.

        Is it safe?

Made from 100% food-grade rubber and BPA-free hard plastic. Completely safe for your dog.

        Is it noisy?

Most owners say it's very quiet. Some note a slight sound from the rolling ball, but nothing disruptive.

How do I take it apart to fill it?

Simply pull the silicone outer lid off the base bowl. It's a snug fit by design, so doing it over a sink is easiest. Press it back together when filled.
